What a spectacular relief to get this finished! (tears of joy) This has been the most epic artwork I’ve completed so far...and my computer did not like it one bit (a HUGE file….many many many layers/masks/filters/painting )

What its all about....

The Green Man of the forest is the ultimate dealer in cosmic illusions...tricking unsuspecting travelers, defending the creatures of the forest, maintaining the balance of life and death in the deep green undergrowth

Here he lures us in to give us a glimpse of other worlds and universes, perhaps leaving us to become lost in endless illusions of time and space

For so long I have desperately wanted to put this idea into visual form. This image took many days to complete as there are three entirely separate artworks combined into one image here (in order to use all three model stocks from

I had to challenge myself just a little
Most of all, this tested my patience with my ancient laptop whose bulging hard drives were splitting down the seams trying to contain this green little mischief maker
However, despite the hardships, I'm very fond of this one
